Benjamin started his technology career path as a teenager, developing websites using what is today referred to as the "LAMP stack". As an adult he found himself starting his professional career as a Linux Systems Administrator which gave him the skills and experience needed to publish his first book "Red Hat Enterprise Linux Troubleshooting Guide". At American Express, he is responsible for designing the infrastructure and software of our most critical platforms. He is also a big promoter of using and contributing to Open Source and adopting those principles into our own engineering practices. When not geeking out, he can be found hanging out with his twin boys and his wife Ruby (the person not the language).
