Distinguished Engineer

Amol is a Distinguished Engineer in Enterprise Data & Artificial Intelligence (EDAI) and a resident expert in Customer Personalization, GenAI, AI/ML Platforms, High Performance Computing, and Data Science with a proven track history of building Large Scale Data Intensive Decision Intelligence Platforms. He plays a pivotal role in driving the implementation of scalable Artificial Intelligence & Engineering platforms and developing innovative AI Products and Solutions to eminent challenges by closely following research and open-source developments and collaborating with industry partners.

Amol influences key cross-functional enablement initiatives and technical decisions, mentors engineers, and evangelizes Artificial Intelligence across the enterprise through the Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Community of Technical Practice. Prior to joining Amex, Amol worked at Technology Product Companies in Healthcare & Foodservice helping build AI/ML & Decision Science Products & Platforms. He is a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence / Computational Data Science & Engineering from the University at Buffalo with original foundational research work published in several national & international journals.
