Carmen leads the global engineering team behind American Express’ Travel & Lifestyle Services, where she and her team design and deliver digital and agent-assisted experiences that make travel planning and concierge support seamless for our Card Members.

Since joining American Express, she has built and scaled high-performing engineering organizations across Risk Management, Web Engineering, and Global Servicing Technology. Along the way, she has driven the modernization of critical platforms, from customer servicing portals to multi- channel communication systems, and has led the adoption of AI and big data solutions that help us better serve millions of customers worldwide. Carmen is passionate about building inclusive teams and developing diverse talent. She has been an active supporter of American Express’ Women in Tech and HOLA colleague networks.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Barry University in Florida. Outside of work, Carmen loves exploring new destinations and cherishes time spent with her family.
