EVP, Payment Network and Acquiring Solutions

Matthew leads the development and operation of the American Express Payment Network globally in support of card issuing, merchant acquiring and global and regional payment partners. This includes developing new and emerging payment products and solutions for its global customer and partners. Previously he served as Chief Technology Officer for American Express and has had senior roles at leading banks and technology firms in the UK and US. Matthew graduated from Nottingham University with a BSc in Zoology, and completed postgraduate studies in Biological Computation.
